Delivery Lead / Project Manager
Own a client engagement end to end: the scope, the date, the team and the honest conversation when something is slipping.
About the role
Our engagements have a fixed scope and a fixed date by design. Holding that line — with the client and with the team — is the job.
What you will do
- Own scope, plan, budget and delivery date for an engagement
- Run the team day to day and remove what blocks them
- Be the escalation point for the client, and answer honestly
- Escalate internally in week three rather than week twelve
- Manage risk and dependency actively, not in a monthly report
- Own the handover plan from the first week, not the last
What we are looking for
- Multi-workstream delivery against a real deadline
- Comfortable in front of a client executive
- Keeps the plan current without it becoming a second job
- Says the difficult thing early
Useful, not essential
- Government or public-sector programme experience
- Formal delivery certification
- Technical background
