Product Designer (UI/UX)
Design the interfaces where people accept, reject and question what a system proposes. Trust is a design problem before it is a model problem.
About the role
Our users are underwriters, planners, clinicians, administrators and parents. The interfaces are dense and operational, and the stakes of a confusing screen are real.
What you will do
- Research with the people who will actually use the system
- Design end-to-end flows, not screens in isolation
- Build and maintain a design system with the engineers
- Design the review and override paths for AI-assisted decisions
- Test designs with users and change them when you are wrong
- Work in the browser alongside engineers during build
What we are looking for
- A portfolio of shipped product work, not only concepts
- Comfortable with dense, operational interfaces
- Can run a user session and return with decisions
- Understands accessibility as a requirement, not a bonus
Useful, not essential
- Front-end skills (HTML/CSS, or component work)
- Experience designing for low-bandwidth or shared devices
- Bilingual interface design
How hiring works
A first conversation, then a short practical exercise related to the job, then a conversation with the person you would report to. We reply to every application, and we do not ask for unpaid work.
