Engineering & Data Internships
Six months on a real engagement with a named mentor. Interns work on delivery, not on side projects invented to keep them busy.
About the role
We take a small number of interns each cycle across engineering, data and design. You will be on a client engagement with work that ships, supported by someone accountable for your six months.
What you will do
- Work on a real client engagement from week one
- Pair with an experienced engineer, analyst or designer
- Take a small piece of scope and own it properly
- Take part in code review, planning and retrospectives
- Present what you built at the end of the placement
What we are looking for
- Solid fundamentals in programming, data or design
- Evidence you build things outside coursework
- Willing to ask the question you think you should already know
- Available for six continuous months, on site
Useful, not essential
- A personal project you can walk us through
- Open-source contributions
- Anything that shows you finish what you start
How hiring works
A first conversation, then a short practical exercise related to the job, then a conversation with the person you would report to. We reply to every application, and we do not ask for unpaid work.
