QA Engineer
Test the systems people will rely on — including the parts where the answer is probabilistic rather than fixed.
About the role
Testing an AI-assisted system is genuinely different from testing a deterministic one, and we are still working out the best practice. You would be part of that.
What you will do
- Write test plans from requirements that are not yet precise
- Build and maintain automated test suites across web and API
- Test the review and exception paths, not only the happy path
- Reproduce, isolate and report defects clearly
- Support user acceptance testing with client teams
- Help define how we evaluate non-deterministic output
What we are looking for
- Manual and automated testing across web and API
- Can write a test plan from an ambiguous requirement
- Rigorous about reproduction steps and evidence
- Comfortable reading code
Useful, not essential
- Performance or security testing
- Accessibility testing
- Experience testing ML-backed features
